Prague is served by Václav Havel Airport (IATA code PRG), which hosts flights to points throughout Europe and elsewhere. A number of public transportation options are available to and from the airport, including an Airport Express bus that leaves for the city centre every 30 minutes.

Praha hlavní nádraží , the main railway station, offers connections to cities throughout Europe.

Servers in Prague restaurants commonly expect a 10% tip from visitors, but not local residents. It is not necessary to tip a taxi driver, unless he has provided notably good service.

Charles University is well connected with the Prague public transport system, and has bus and metro stops nearby.

The workshop venue is a little more than a kilometer from the Congress Center, where the Goldschmidt 2015 conference will be held. You may wish to stay in any of a number of hotels close to the workshop.

Alternatively, the Goldschmidt has arranged hotel accommodations near the Congress Center. Several hostels are also available in the general vicinity.

Environment and safety

Upon registration, you will be asked to provide an emergency contact name and telephone number, in the unlikely event of illness or accident, as well as list any special dietary requirements or medical needs.

Prague, like any urban area, is not free of crime. Visitors everywhere should take precautions to protect themselves and their property, such as not walking alone at night and not leaving valuables unattended.

Hosts and sponsors

The workshop is being held thanks to the generous efforts of our hosts and sponsors:
